The 2021-22 Premier League season was certainly a treat for the fans to watch. With fans back in to the stadiums, every teams had extra motivation to give it all on the pitch. The 2021-22 season is now being touted as arguably the best Premier League season ever because of the fact that high stakes were up until the last day of the season. Many important places were decided on the last day of the season which includes the title race, relegation battle, UCL and UEL spot.
In the end, it was Manchester City who were crowned as the champions of England after defeating Aston Villa 3-2 on the last day of the season. City ended up winning the league with just a single point lead over their title rivals Liverpool. Tottenham edged over Arsenal as they finished the season in the 4th spot and as a result secured Champions League football for next season.

Arsenal and Manchester United ended up with 5th and 6th place on the points table and has earned Europa League spots for the upcoming season. Leeds and Everton survived relegation threat as in the end, both clubs delivered when it mattered. Burnley, Norwich and Watford were the three teams that have been relegated to Championship football for next season.
The 2021-22 PL season also produced some great transfer deals for clubs. Jack Grealish's English premier league record-breaking move to Manchester City has been the biggest transfer incoming. Chelsea's move to re-sign Romelu Lukaku turned out to be a disaster as the Belgian striker has fallen out with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel due to lack of playing time.
Cristiano Ronaldo made his return to Manchester United this season
Manchester United also splashed the cash this summer, with the arrivals of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and the return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford. Fans expected United to mount a great title challenge after these three huge signings. However, things went wayward for the Red Devils as the season has already been termed as their worst season in recent history.
Many clubs used the winter transfer window wisely to add more strength to their squad. The signing of Luis Diaz by Liverpool, Bruno Guimarães by Newcastle United and Philippe Coutinho by Aston Villa are being considered as the best business done by English clubs this season.
